A new interactive map on Child Poverty 2009 has been added to the NINIS website. The Child Poverty data were supplied by the Child Poverty Unit in the Department for Work and Pensions and similar data are available for England, Scotland and Wales. To view similar data for England, Scotland and Wales click here

The NINIS Crime Map has also been updated with Anti Social Behaviour Incidents for 2010/11 and the the Small Area Population Estimates map has been updated with population data for Super Output Areas (SOAs) for 2010.

Over 50 Datasets have also been added to the NINIS Data Catalogue. To see a full list of the new data added click here


New Interactive Map

Proportion of Children in Poverty Interactive Map

This Interactive Map allows you to see data on Children in Poverty at SOA Level, Ward Level and Local Government District (LGD) Level for Year 2009. Click here or on the Map for more details.



NINIS Data

In September, 52 datasets were added to the NINIS website.

The Child Poverty Unit in the Department for Work and Pensions have provided the following dataset.

The NISRA Demography and Methodology Branch have provided the following dataset.

The Northern Ireland Cancer Registry provided an annual update of two datasets relating to cancer incidence.

The NINIS website has been updated with 31 new locations datasets including various sports and health facilities. To view please click on the links below.

The NISRA Demography and Methodology Branch have provided nine updated datasets relating to Population and Migration.

The Department of Health and Social Services and Public Safety have provided two updated datasets.

HMRC provided an additional year (2010) of Child Benefit data, available from Output Area and higher.

Invest NI have provided three new datasets.

The Energy Performance Unit, Department of Finance and Personnel have provided two updated datasets relating to Natural Environment.
